FAQ’s related to Accounts:
 
1.How do I open an account? In order to open an account you have to choose which type of account you are seeking as we provide individual accounts and partnership accounts (ex. Introducing brokers, White Labels, Manage accounts)
You must provide us with a copy of your ID or passport plus a proof of residence (utility bill)

Prime4x must receive all required documents to start the account opening process, but only when we receive the documents, the assigned department will check your application. Once accepted, our staff will set up an account for you and they will contact you to inform you of your username and password and provide you with the wiring instructions.
 
2.Is Prime4x’s Account Agreement Form available in different languages? At the moment the Account Agreement Form is available in English, and will soon be available in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.
 
3.How long does it takes for Prime4x to set up the account from the date you receive the application? Usually the account is set up within one day. Our assigned department verifies that the documentation is in order and afterwards our back office sets up the account.
 
4.What is the minimum amount to open an account? The minimum amount to open a mini account is $100.
The minimum amount to open a standard account is $2,000.
The minimum amount to open an institutional account is $100,000.
 
5.Why do I need to provide you a notarized copy of my passport? This is a control procedure required by Swiss Anti-Money Laundering laws to ensure that the person who wants to open an account is indeed who he claims to be.
 
6.I don't have a passport - can I open an account with another piece of identity? Yes, any official piece of identification with photo and signature is acceptable.
 
7.Can I withdraw my money whenever I want? Yes! Just fill in the online withdrawal form and we will send the money to your bank account automatically.

9.How do I transfer my funds? Funds are accepted by two methods, wire transfer and via credit card.

13.Do you charge fees or commissions when opening an account with Prime4x? No, Prime4x does not charge any fees or commission. The client’s only cost is the spreads.

1.Can I trade Mini and Micro-lots with Prime4x? Yes, prime4x offers the possibility to trade mini and micro lots.
 
2.Can my account be denominated in other currencies than US dollars? Yes, you can choose to have your account denominated in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD or CAD.
 
3.Do you have guaranteed fills? Our dealers always execute orders at the indicated price under normal market conditions. In situations of market gaps it is impossible to cover the positions with our liquidity providers, and you may be filled at a different price than initially requested.
 
4.What is the maximum you increase your spreads in volatile markets? It is impossible to give a fixed maximum as it entirely depends on the market. However during important news announcements or in volatile markets we usually do not increase the spreads for the majors to more than 5 pips, occasionally to 10.
 
5.What do you mean by a 'No maintenance margin' policy? Prime4x "no maintenance margin policy" means that our clients' positions can reach and go below the margin requirements without prime4x close their opening positions. Throughout the week your positions may fluctuate and prime4x will take no action.
 
6.What leverage does Prime4x provide? That depends on the account type, for example we provide a leverage of 500:1 in the mini accounts and a leverage of 400:1 in standards. We also provide a leverage of 100:1 to institutional accounts. For more info please click here.
 
7.Why is it not possible to trade or to modify orders during the weekend? Our Dealing Room is closed during weekend and trading access is therefore blocked.

1.Has Prime4x developed its Trading Station? No, Prime4x Trading Station is based on the Meta Trader 4 (also called MT4) software, which has been developed by Metaquotes. However, Prime4x has developed several online trading tools and facilities services, a fully automated trading system with unique trading facilities, and a full set of custom and unique indicators, trading strategies and expert advisors to make trading easy and successful. 2.Why doesn't the Market watch show all currency pairs in my platform? If the Market Watch does not feature all instruments, just put the cursor somewhere in the Market Watch, right-click and choose 'Show All'. All pairs, including gold and silver prices, should now appear in the market watch.
 
3.After downloading and installing the Prime4x Trading Station, the trading platform says 'no connection'. How do I connect? It is important that you open a demo account in the system when you download the platform. Because, the trading system will not connect if there is no account created. If you skipped to fill the grey box that popped up when you installed the platform , few steps to create demo account; just go to 'File' in the menu and choose 'Open an Account'. Fill the box that appears and remember to tick the box about newsletters. You should now receive an account with login and password and you will connect to the server - please accept the system updates, when proposed.
 
4.Does the Prime4x Trading Station have the trailing stop loss feature? Prime4x trading platform offer trailing stop loss feature to its clients, which is activated for both demo account platform and for live accounts.
To activate the Trailing Stop loss on a position, go to 'Trade' in the 'Terminal' at the bottom of the trading platform, right-click and choose Trailing Stops. Please note that you have to be making a profit of minimum 15 pips before you can activate it.
 
5.Does the Prime4x trading platform allow hedging positions? Prime4x Trading Station allows Clients to open hedge positions
 
6.How can I increase the security of my trading platform and create a password? Once the user opens the trading platform he will be logged into his account automatically. To increase the security you can create your own password by the following steps: 1. Open the menu bar and select Tools 2. Then choose options 3. Check the box next to - 'Keep personal settings and data at startup'. 4. The check mark will disappear. Consequently the trader must enter his password each time he accessed the Prime4x online trading platforms. Please Notify that your Login number and Password recorded before restarting your trading platform.
 
7.How can I print the provided report without saving them? In order to print the Prime4x provided reports you have to save it first then it will be easy to be printed.
 
8.What should I do if prices on my screen do not update? Try to check the connection of your pc.
